Meet Rodolfo Añez, our Technical Director and a driving force behind UAT TEAM’s innovative approach to water treatment. As a Water Circularity Advocate, Rodolfo brings over 30 years of experience in designing high-performance water and wastewater systems across the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. His expertise in water stewardship, paired with his engineering background and a Master’s in Water Engineering Services and water Urban Cycle makes him an exceptional leader in this field.
With a strong commitment to circular economy principles, Rodolfo is a firm believer that the global water crisis can be mitigated—if not solved—through the intersection of technical expertise and sustainable practices. He leads our team with a focus on applying cutting-edge technologies to enhance water management and achieve conservation goals, ensuring every project aligns with our clients’ sustainability objectives.
Having successfully managed over 300 projects in industries such as food and beverage, oil and gas, desalination, and agriculture, Rodolfo’s insights and dedication guarantee that every project he oversees is not only executed flawlessly but also drives real impact in water conservation. His leadership and unwavering commitment help shape the future of water in LATAM and beyond.

José Paternina
Meet José Paternina, Engineering Project Director at UAT TEAM. With over 24 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, José has honed his technical skills in instrumentation and process control, packaging line design, and equipment integration across mechanical and electronic systems. His career spans notable roles, including Engineering Manager at Pepsi-cola Venezuela and Project Engineer at Cervecería Polar, where he led significant innovations in packaging systems.
Today, José brings his wealth of expertise to UAT TEAM as an advisor in engineering operations, deeply invested in improving industry standards, particularly in the conscientious use of water. His passion and technical know-how enable him to devise solutions that align with the highest operational standards, ensuring sustainable practices across industries.

Our story began with a shared passion for water treatment, a field that captured our interest early in our careers. Recognizing its potential to drive positive change, we decided to dedicate ourselves to developing expertise and solutions that combine environmental awareness with scientific precision.
Our team is a unique blend of seasoned professionals and emerging talent. Many of our engineers come from diverse industries, bringing with them a wealth of experience that enriches our operational practices. At the same time, we take pride in mentoring newcomers, offering them the opportunity to learn the intricacies of water treatment. Over four to five years, these individuals transform from novices to industry experts, becoming integral to our ecosystem.
UAT TEAM functions as a collaborative ecosystem. Our multidisciplinary team spans process engineering, mechanical and electrical design, instrumentation, programming, and control.
